Resort or Ski Area: Bobcat Ski Center: Andes, NY

Conditions: Spring sugar snow

Trip Report: A nearly perfect day at Bobcat, with temps around 40, clear skies and no crowds. I skied from 9-4 with only one 15-minute break... it was that good. Also, the temperature and lack of skier traffic meant that it didn't turn to slop or get grabby later in the afternoon.

It was somewhat disconcerting that we're getting this kind of spring skiing about four weeks early, but honestly, it was the next best thing to a powder day.
