| Whiteface-2/27/04 Date(s) Skied: Saturday February 28, 2004 and Sunday February 29, 2004 Resort or Ski Area: Whiteface, Wilmington, NY Conditions: Spring Sking Had a great two days at Whiteface. Conditions on top were awesome but it got a bit ugly at the bottom due to the warm temps. Had some mashed potatoes down there. The top was just nice though. Lots of loose powder hanging out on the sides of the trail and, on some trails, in the middle! Something us East Coasties aren't used to! Didn't like that they wouldn't comp myself and my other patroller buddies. We're with Belleayre Mountain--another NY State run facility. They gave us a discount, which was better than nothing but it was kinda weak. Great mountain.
