Cannon Mountain Early Season Pass Sales

Cannon Mountain Ski Area announces early season pass sales for the 2004-2005 season.
Season Pass rates will start at $445 for New Hampshire residents who purchase their passes by December 14, 2004, a savings of $100 from previous years. Nonresident adults will see a savings of $135 with the early season special price of $595.
Cannon Mountain also has special rates for junior and senior season passes, and will still offer the Bold & Beautiful Midweek Pass with Bretton Woods for $249. The College Pass with Mt. Sunapee Resort and Gunstock will be available for $189. Cannon and Gunstock will team up to offer NH Educators a special pass for $349.
Cannon Mountain offers 55 trails, 9 lifts, and terrain from beginner to expert. The NH Division of Parks and Recreation, part of the Department of Resources and Economic Development, manages Cannon Mountain. thanks skican, i had been waiting to see what those rates would be. unfortunately, as an out of state resident, $595 is just a tad too high for me even though cannon is my favorite ski area and i spend half, if not more than half, of my ski days there. counting all the specials i take advantage of (two-fers, early season, etc.), i'd have to ski cannon nearly 20 times to break even and last season i only got 2 dozens ski days in. i like visiting other areas 50% of my ski days, so it's just a tad high price wise. i'd GLADLY pay the instate rate though, but i live in MA. *shrug* i was hoping to see something more competitive in light of ASC's price drop. but as cannon probably figures, it's not like die hard cannon folks are even considering the ASC pass, lol.

Yep a bit steep, but you hit the nail right on the head. I also ski Cannon mostly and do so on two fer days. I am moving to Maine (husband is already there) and will now be a full time Loafer. Trying to get a job there this winter so I can get the free lift ticket. Probably won't get too much skiing in at the Notch. Ho hum! I love the Cannon!
