| AFAIK the current owner threatened to do that, but it didn't happen. Or at least it hasn't happened yet, the town is trying to prevent that from happening...

| Thanks for the story links, guys. I agree that Sundown is a better area, but the Ridge was always fun in its own way. My school took ski trips there and first you got to ski into the night, then ride home on a bus and nip from a half-pint or make out in the back. |

| I've always been a bit suprised that the folks over the ridge from the Ridge at Lyman Orchards haven't gotten involved in this. You'd think that with the large recreation draw they already bring to that area between their 2 golf courses, the farm stand, pick your own, corn maze, etc that having Powder Ridge up and running as atleast as a 2 season resort would be a natural progression for them. |
