having never gone into the mansfield backcountry and having three cheap tickets to use in march, i would be in need of beta... but i am with JD on this one. i always try to use discretion when posting TRs of sidecountry and easily accessible back country. it is a hard balance between conditions reporting and making sure people in the know have a good idea of what things look like versus mapping places out. i learned the hard way when you talk a lot online about your favorite side/backcountry... people start following you.
