Wink Cannon 03/22/07

Great hill. I hit it on a picture perfect spring day for my first ever visit, 60 degrees top to bottom. Marshmellow fluff snow, very sticky, loved it, mmmmm good. Maybe 100 people skiing on the hill. Tram rides were 10-15 people. Hit a couple trails on their last day of the season (unless it snows this w/e). Only ones noticeably closed were Tramline and the adjacent glade trail that goes down through the ravine. That trail looks awesome, but I was a good boy and didn't duck any ropes, was having a blast on the rest of the hill. Was going to go over to Mittersil, saw a few guys doing it, but didn't think it worth that effort, was fine with what I had. Never got bored at Cannon. Down to the bare bones on many trails, definitely more snow in Vermont. Great time, love Cannon, very challenging mountain, whew!
