Crotched Re-opening Saturday 4/7

Just received an e-mail...in case anyone's interested, Crotched's going to be open this Saturday:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the "I can't believe it's still winter" files...

All this beautiful snow can't go to waste. Yes, our season had already ended, but we're bringing it back for 1 more shot at all the glory.

CROTCHED MOUNTAIN WILL BE OPEN THIS SATURDAY 4/7, 9am-5pm!!

Saturday Bonus Bash

Saturday 4/7, 9a-5p (1-day Saturday only)
Tickets: $10 (Season passes are still valid)
Food: Food Dude Rick's Slopeside BBQ - Burgers, brats, hotdogs

Most of the mountain is open and we'll be running the summit lift and possibly the west double. Recommending intermediate ability level and above. Sorry, lessons will not be available. Terrain will be about 90%, still with excellent coverage. 6"-8" fresh snow today.

TELL EVERYONE AND WE'LL SEE YOU SATURDAY!

I can fix that....

Great business move...especially considering that they just bought Snow and Attitash.

Re-opening is just OUTSTANDING! I live near Mt Snow and this makes me really pleased that my home mt is now owned by a company that clearly values skiing!

*nod* I think they prob did the math and figured worst case they'd break even. They're obviously not doing it for the cash, as they're attracting people with 10$ ski all day long.

Sure do look purty too.

Wouldn't suprise me if the head honcho of Peak Resorts, Mr Boyd is around too, especially since he's been in New England this week just signing a couple of papers here and there
