Conditionsowder, loose powder, powder bumps

Trip Report: got up around 11:30 this morning. bumming the late start but oh well. Met up with powhunter from the mogul board and his friend john and we were off. hit wildfire to warm up. nice soft bumps good snow. check. good day to be had for sure. from there went over to needles and hit vertigo. poached to headwall which was awesome. vertigo was only officially open from the snowshed crossover down but it was all good. from there took the skyeship up and over to skyelark. headwall was big bumps with ice troughs but still awesome. rode k1, only wait of the day and over to west glade. alright but ducked into the woods off there and it was sick. next run down powerline. incredible. especially the lower part that isnt on the map. effin sick. run down royal flush, ok. northstar, sweet. i had to head back to bear to get my car so i ended up hitting upper needles. awesome bumps. but when i got back to vertigo, the lines had tightened up on lower v and were absolutely rippable. nother run down that with a needles liftline thrown in then back to bear and one last run down wildfire. bumps there had tightened up as well.

best day of the year for me. hope it isnt the last.

yeah, it snowed lightly all day but i wouldnt say it accumulated too much. maybe picked up an inch or so, tops, at upper elevations. car, which i parked at bear, had nothing on it at the end of the day though.
