| Killington: May 4, 2007 May Skiing Date: May 4, 2007 2007 Trip Report #: 56 Resort: Killington Conditions: Corn and bumps. Like 20 people. Weather: Sun and clouds. Some wind. Temps in the 50's. Trip Report: May is here. The 2006-2007 season is going down in a Blaze of Glory. Bluebird afternoon and deep, corn snow. What could be better? Pulled in after a gruelling four and a half hour exam The usual suspects were open...Superstar, Bittersweet, Skyelark, and Lower Skyehawk, as well as a few cross trails. Three routes. Started off going down 4-Way to Bittersweet. Great snow, nobody and I found out why: about half way down you have to jump/walk across a three-foot patch of grass. No biggie. The snow was worth it. Next run was down a bumpier, but nice, Skyelark. Great, almost edge to edge coverage. Lower Skyehawk has one really narrow pass on far skier's left, but other than that, deep bumps. And as you expected, the next one was Superstar. Deepest bumps up top. Middle was flat, and the lower headwall was deep, deep corn snow and some bumps. Amazing. I did two or three laps on each trail. Hit the little pitch/cliff off the Skyeship and onto Four Way...mandatory air dude and I biffed it. That led to a As the afternoon went on, the place cleared out. Happy Hour was the competition I guess. No lines at the lift meant nice runs. Had a great day. Will be there on Sunday.

| I will be up with my son for our last day of the season tomorrow. It will be a cold night tonight, so we will leave a bit later to give the sun a chance to soften things up a bit before we hit the slopes.
