killington 5/6

Date(s) Skied: 5/6

Resort or Ski Area: Killington

Conditions: slush bumps.

Trip Report: first closing day for me ever. unfortunately, it isnt nearly the latest i've skied at killington though. anyway, today was a pretty damn nice way to end the season. spent the whole day on superstar with the exception of one highly interesting run down skye something or other. Found myself in the midst of the infamous highway star. lol. on to more important things though. Superstar was really nice, especially the headwall. All the way to the left had a monster line that was still rippable. way fun even though some of the drops were pretty damn big. middle superstar had been groomed overnight but by 2 or so, had decent lines on it. lower headwall had big bumps that became huge bumps, especially skiers left, by the end of the day.

legs are freakin jello now. i hooked up with madskier on my last run and barely made it down in one piece. had less then zero in the tank. jeff has an awesome style to watch. next year jeff, gotta hit sugarbush or mrg with ya!

So his parents DID give him the keys to the car? We didn't see him at all...not on our hike even...thought he would have been up there.

From what I heard, he was at the BBQ across the road from the Zoner BBQ.

It was great to ski with you Pat, even if it was only 1 run. What a great way to end the season! For not having anything in the tank, you skied very well doing those zipperline moves you do so well.

I got a total of 3 runs in before the lift closed but they were great runs! I also hooked up with AndyZee, trailboss, roark & snowmonster at the end of the day for some cold beverages & BBQ food. Nice to finally meet you all in person. What a great Spring day!
