They are putting in the small triple at the bottom of the Ski Bowl this summer. They are also supposed to start cutting the trails on Burnt Ridge (between Twister and Tahawus). They are also converting the old gondola building into the rental/nursery/leaning center. This will open up the base lodge which has been over crowded on most weekends for the past few years. They are also upgrading the capacity of the snowmaking.
Next summer they are supposed to install a HSQ on Burnt Ridge and a HSQ out of the base of the Ski Bowl. The Ski Bowl lift will some how allow a connection to the Burnt Ridge HSQ. The skiing in Burnt Ridge is high intermediate and low expert. The top of the Burnt Ridge HSQ will also provide access to the existing Gore base. |
