New multi-merchant outdoor gear directory

I recently finished up rebuilding the Gear section of AZ:

http://gear.alpinezone.com/

This is a multi-merchant directory which includes a number of big name outdoor gear providers including Altrec, Backcountry.com and Rack Attack to name a few. The search on the page page is also pretty neat in that you can search for gear from all included merchants at one time. If you're looking online to buy gear, please try this directory/search first and help support AZ a bit!

I've also set up a Daily Gear Deals page here:

http://gear.alpinezone.com/outdoor_gear_deals.htm

This is sort of the replacement for the Daily Gear Deals forum we used to have. It's sort of like a Steep and Cheap kind of thing. Anyway, let me know what you think. I hope to add more gear merchants in the future.

Yeah and you better be nice to me too .. No really .. but I had a classmate that became an inmate for murder and I attended public school and was friends with the warden's sons growing up. After high school we all went our different ways. Years later, one of the warden's son became the CO for one of my younger brothers in the army special forces. The world can be a very small place at time.
