Historically Vermont

Past two seasons and most likely this season - Maine.

Oh how I wish there was an Interstate going straight from Portland to Lebanon, NH. It's depressing looking at a map knowing it's maybe 100 miles by the way the crow flies, yet nearly 180 the way I'd have to travel to get there. I miss skiing the northern greens every week

Yeah, that's pretty depressing and a sad snapshot at how weak the dollar is these days.

I spend most of my time in the state of denial.

I hear you there. My trip to Mad River Glen on Saturday took 2.5 hours for only about 100 miles. People who live a lot further away than I do by the crow flying can get there much quicker due to interstate access. but there really is no need or demand for such an artery except for a handful of recreationalists.
