Great location...go one way to the lift, stumble the other way to the Mangy Moose. To be fair, lots of great stuff in Jackson which your going to have to drive to or take the START bus.

It's one of the oldest lodging places in TV. Is that little store still there at the bottom?
I know it's all about the skiing but if you can take an afternoon off it worth it to check out the National Elk Refuge or Yellowstone either on the SnoCoach or a guided snowmobile trip, if your really energetic. There is an afternoon trip into Granite Hot Springs which is awesome. An afternoon x-c skiing in GTNP is amazing.
If your staying in the village and you get woken up by loud explosions and your windows are shaking.....not to worry...it's a very good thing. It's just the ski patrol firing off this baby for avalanche control meaning there is freshies to be had.
