AMC closed the M&M Forum

Hello People,

Just want to come on board to say hi this being my first post here (long time reader). I post over on the AMC site under StrollingTramper but I shortened here. The removal of M&M from the AMC is why I'm here. I like educated political sparring so I’ll miss the M&M. I was not happy with some of the flaming that did go on there because it did become very personal at some people. All of you pretty much summed up what I feel about the whole thing. I enjoy hiking and backwoods camping and the kids (all out of the house now) have come to love it also. I like living in a country where we can take an active part to keep the backcountry country. Within an open form like this one and the old M&M keep/kept ideas alive in how best to accomplish what is needed.

Enough said, I don’t want to get winded on my first post here.
