Mount Snow stands a good chance of being open.

Current forecasts say that snowmaking temps return either tonight or Wednesday night and that means the snowmaking team will be back out wielding their guns on T2, Cascades, Sunday Punch, Jungle Punch and possibly others. We're still on track for an opening day of Nov. 9th. If the weather and temps cooperate it could be even earlier.

Stay tuned here and to the snow phone for the most up to date info on opening day. On that day we're looking to have T2 open, serviced by Lift 4. The terrain parks crew is working on new features and will have an early season jib park open.

Coming this weekend is the Tin Mountain Round Up. Hit the first runs of the season for only $20 when you bring three cans of food for donation.

It's not too late to get your Maine Pass for this season. Ski Sunday River and Sugarloaf all season with great discounts and incentives at Boyne sister resorts including Loon Mountain in New Hampshire and Big Sky in Montana.

We're right on the edge of kicking off the '07-'08 season so get that gear tuned up and ready to go!
