| I have this wild @$$ idea of "ski 89". I would make a day of skiing venues right off of 89, maybe 1 hour at each. Starting off at Cochrans, then down to Suicide, then to Whaleback, (Sunapee and Pats optional) then finally Macintyre in Manchester NH unfortunately, the weather has been too good for such a frivolous pursuit, plus it would be a lot of bucks.. Then again, I never left practical matters stay in the way of fun. I would probably run out of hours, maybe not since Whale, Pats have night skiing, dunno about Mac's. |

| Unfortunately, nowhere. Perhaps Sundown, but other than that... With me completely going on my own this year as far as skiing goes, money suddenly becomes more of a restriction and with my gas-guzzling Explorer, I can't really go far too often. Costs me $15 in gas just to go to Wachusett and back and Beast was nearly $30.

| So far new: Ascutney, Whaleback, Smuggs, MRG, Sugarloaf, Shawnee Peak Still working on Magic and Tuckerman If my objecting wife had not been behind the wheel last night we would have stopped at Spruce on the way back from Sugarloaf. It was free from 6 to 9. This would have nicely mirrored the day we drove back from Smuggs in crappy weather and skied a little at Whaleback on the way home (which was also free from 6 to 9 that night).
