| Waterville Valley 12/2/2007 Date(s) Skied: 12/2/2007 Resort or Ski Area: Waterville Vallley Conditions: Packed Powder Trip Report: The cold temperatures have been a big help; lots more open this weekend then last weekend. The Lower Meadows beginner area is open sooner than I can remember over the past few years. Upper Bobby's, Old T, White Caps and Lower Sels all open and in fine shape. Not many people around today (didn't ski yesterday but heard it was very cold); temps in the 20s and no wind; a great day for skiing. The most crowded slope was the still-closed pony lift trail near the beginners area which was occupied by a flock of at least 20 wild turkeys that were happily feeding. |
