| Sunday River 12-03-07 Powder Day Area skied: Sunday River Date skied: December 3rd, 2007 from 10:45am - 2:45pm Surface conditions: Powder with 8" new We got a late start to the day with our first run on South Ridge down Spectator which had huge fun whales that where fun to ski. We made our way over to Sirius/Aludra and saw a line of people waiting for the ropes to drop on Northern Lights, after about a 10 minute wait the ski patrol opened the trail for the season and we had a really nice powder run with lots of chances for fresh lines. We skied this trail twice and enjoyed the powder and the huge snowmaking whales on some parts of the middle of the trail. Northern Lights: ![]() Lights Out had deep snow on the trail edges and was fun if a bit flat. Escapade and Grand Rapids also had some nice cut up powder and we skied these trails twice. Right Stuff had some small powdery moguls with some ice in skied off spots. Cascade was much the same thing with slightly larger moguls/mounds of snow. Right Stuff: ![]() Right now it is dumping fairly hard and tuesday morning should be a great day, especially first thing in the morning.

| Northern Ligthts was definitely the trail of the day. I caught first tracks after patrol droped the rope. Post some more pics soon, unfortunatley my internet is being uncooperative. Sorry for spelling SRBC $2 drafts hit me early.
