| Stowe 12/7/2007 Date Skied: 12/7/2007 Resort or Ski Area: Stowe Conditions: Packed powder, mostly. Powder on ungroomed trails and in woods. Trip Report: Made my first trip to Stowe on the last day of $54 lift tickets before spring. Most runs were heavily groomed; with an inch of snow overnight and a couple dustings during the day, for the most part there was no problem carving turns. Found nice ungroomed soft bumps in places including parts of Liftline, all of upper Nosedive and throughout Hayride, which was my favorite. I'm not really a woods skier yet but I did try (sloooowly) a fairly open part of Nosedive glades and found lots of knee deep +. A real good day but I would have preferred if more of the trails were ungroomed. My legs are screaming. |
