I've been criticized for giving trip reports that need to be read. So here is a report with very few words

Overall conditions: Wet snow on ungroomed; wet packed powder/spring-like on trails groomed in the past couple days.

Weather: 30s(?); foggy

Yeah, there's something about being there. It just feels different than most ski areas, and there are fun trails all over. In another words, 2knees, you have to go!

Am I delusional or does the place looked pretty worked-over? MRG is always a challenge, you're right the vibes, the karma is entirely different. For me a big part is that it doesn't seem that someone has their hand in my pocket all the time AND the people that go there LOVE TO SKI. I can't say that about a lot of places. A lot of people seem to come to resorts for reasons other than skiing and boarding...

I went today. Hard surfaces in the ungroomed areas, but still full coverage. It really needs a storm to get the woods going again (at least, they weren't very skiable for my skill level), but for all natural snow, not bad at all, given the rain last weekend.
