Interesting post!

This year, we both had surgery, one at each end of the Summer, so that severely limited our ability to get out. But get out we did. As we had opportunity. We checked off 9 of the 48/4k. Previously had only checked off 8, so now we have 17 done. We did most by overnighter, to more fully enjoy the outdoors. We could have done more at a faster pace, but we like getting out there and staying out there. Also took in Tuckerman's for the first time (just me with the boss).

We did get a trip in to Oak Island N.C. and Akumal Mexico to swim with the fishies. And too much work on the home, finishing up the basement and second floor bedrooms....

This winter, we plan to ski every weekend, and maybe even a mid week trip. We'll clear a patch of ice off the pond out front and skate at night after work. The cross country skiis and snowshoes will see some action also. Wouldn't want them to become lonely. We have 2 and maybe a third trip into Baxter State park this winter. Trout Brook and togue pond. We hook up a sled and drag our gear into the cabin, then plenty of trekking around.

Next summer: more fun!!!
