| December 2006 vs December 2007 National snowpack I saved a file of snowpack depth from December 29th, 2006:  Here is a file from December 27th, 2007:  The hole of missing snow in the mid-west is filled in this year and snowcover is far more extensive in Southern New England this year.

| Also, let's not forget it snowed during the last week of December last year. If the comparison had been for last week pre-Christmas, those images would provide an even more stark contrast.

| Don't forget January 6th 2007 was the warmest January day ever for about the entire northeast... I don't think last year will even come close to this year until at least MLK... and thats if it gets really warm this year.
