Looks like I'll be up there on Monday or Tuesday. Please let us know how the conditions are. The last trip report from Ascutney indicated their usual sub-par conditions. I hope it's better for you guys. Enjoy!

CSC discount? What discount is this and is it too late to get in on it...
Was trying to figure out where to go tomorrow and Ascutney was on the list.

CSC stands for CT Ski Council. You have to be a member of one of the ski clubs that are affiliated with the CSC. I think it may be too late to join this year but I'm not certain.

Connecticut Ski Council (www.skiclub.com) offers discounted lift tickets to certain resorts on certain days. I'm not sure if it's too late to sign up for the year, but it's probably too late to get a discount day tomorrow.

I was just briefly reading through their site. My question is that you just have to join any of the local ski clubs to receive the discount(appreciation day) and the other discounted pricing?

Pretty much. I joined the AE ski club, which doesn't recieve as good a deal as some of the others, but is alot cheaper to join. $25 for the year and I can take full advantage of all of the discount days.

I was looking towards the Meriden($35) one since it is closest to me. Will look into if they let us join late. At least it will give me somewere to go each weekend.

HAve you been to any of the meetings?

AE doesn't require you go to any. But I went to the open house banquet at the beginning of the season and one four free lift tickets!
