Sounds like you need a new phone. With AT&T I get good service everywhere from the summit (3 bars), and full service at the discovery lodge. Also get spotty service when riding lift 6, 7, and 8. Can get service outside on the deck of overlook lodge as well.

When driving down from the mountain, you should have full service from lower mtn area through pine hill.

Not sure if it has been said, but my Verizon Wireless does not work at all at SB. Doesn't help for coordinating things or for people tracking me down. Truth be told sometimes I don't want to be tracked down

I do pretty well with Cingular/AT&T most places, but coverage at BEast is always spotty.

Verizon seems to work pretty well at Mount Snow these days. This Verizon tower appears to have been activated in mid-December:

That's lift #7 (Sundance above). This photo was taken on November 10th (opening day at Mount Snow). Since then, I've noticed a 2nd set of antennas on the tower. Not sure what carrier that is. Anyone know?

Nextel is pretty bad in Sugarbush, but I seem to get solid reception in Hunter. Dead spots all the way up, but once there, its all good.

I'm sure most of you guys don't care... not much market share for Nextel these days. The only people I know of that have Nextel get it through work, but then there is Marc.. he actually pays for it.

Unicell provides excellent coverage in the MRV. I have T-Mobile that roams to Unicell. Verizon has a bid to buy Unicell and if that goes through Verizon will finally have good coverage here. Cingular also works well here. Verizon is currently very spotty!

Since they lit that tower up a couple of weeks ago, I can no longer "hide" from folks while on the hill at Mount Snow

While we skied at Gunstock this weekend, my Verizon phone worked fine while my friend's Cingular/AT&T didn't work at all. Is there other AT&T subscriber who has been to Gunstock recently?

Verizon usually works pretty well at Killington. The only exception is at the bottom of Bear which seems to be a cell phone dead zone.
