Belleayre: January 13, 2008

Belleayre Mountain, January 13, 2008:

Introduction: First time up since before Christmas, got up at about 11.

Weapon of Choice: Endeavor Colour 156

Conditions: Looked like spring, tons of grass, some trails with no snow at all. Not really going to get into much detail, imagine Belleayre in March, and that's what it was. Got icy as the day went on but the man made snow held up in some spots. Did laps on Superchief, hit the rails a lot, and took a few runs on Tomahawk. Really tired, I haven't been snowboarding in a while and the Giant's game is on... so not going to write much else.

Weather: Cloudy sorta, not too cold.

Lifts: Usual Belleayre after-lunch rush on Superchief.

Notes: Snow tonight , should be sick tomorrow.

Rating: 6/10

Conclusion: Like spring skiing.

The last time I went up was when Belleayre was all open and tons of snow, then it rained and got shitty and didn't feel like going up. Went to the city a few times and was at some parties the other days so waking up at 9 wasn't really gonna happen.
