Sugarloaf - Jan 27, 2008

Date(s) Skied: January 27th, 2008

Resort or Ski Area: Sugarloaf

Conditions: PP - Light Powder

Trip Report: Primo day at Sugarloaf and took advantage of Maine Family Day ($25 bucks a head ). A light and very fluffy snow fell all day and kept everything nice and fresh. You could tell it was pretty hard under the fluff, but the fluff kept it very nice.

Our favorite runs of the Day were Tote Road to Candyside... and Timberline from the Top. Lots of little tree runs among the "little trees" on the side of Timberline. We also hit Scoot, Binder, and Gauge on the West side, and Ramdown from Kingpine and a bunch of stuff of the Whiffletree chair on the east side. We stuck mostly to groomers, and everything had very good cover. Binder was a bit thin in spots... along with Buckboard... but nothing to complain about. It's all good.

Maybe someone who hit the stuff middle-mountain could chime in with conditions there.
