![]() http://www.popartuk.com/g/l/lget5010...oster-card.jpg Gaper: ![]() http://www.powdermag.com/features/ev...per-days-1.jpg OR Homer: Someone who shows blind loyalty to a team or organization, typically ignoring any shortcomings or faults they have. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=homer Gaper: A gaper is a skiier or snowboarder who is completely clueless. Usually distiungished by their bright colored clothes and a gaper gap, the gap between goggles and a helment/hat. Gapers also do the "Gaper Tuck" which is an attempt at being a ski racer by tucking, however, it is done incorrectly with the poles sticking straight up like thunderbolts and lighting, very very frightning! Gapers also sit at the bottom of jumps and try and go big off table tops in the park. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=gaper

| I voted for GSS cause he's my hero so any mountain he picks to be his home mountain has got to be an awesome place! Yea, baby!

to me a "gaper" is someone who tries to jump to the "gap" to the front of the line and ultimately gets in my way.. Meaning.. They skip intermediate and go right to expert - in their minds... And if they can't handle the terrain the traverse and bail.. then complain about ice and crowds...

| Homer is kind of a fun term. B that picture was beautiful. Gaper seems to have a bit of negative stigma. ie elitist assign Gaper status. That being said many of us call our self Gapers in a fun way.
