The Red
Parka Pub in Glen is a really fun place, it is split restaurant / pub. The pub has live entertainment weekends, starting Thurs. nights, I believe. In the restaurant they show old skiing films, mostly Warren Miller stuff. Fun to watch the dinner crowd react almost as much as the films themselves.
Moat Mountain is a brewery as well as smokehouse. The food (Ribs, Steaks, BBQ Chix, Pulled Pork etc...)is to
DIE for. The beer, brewed right there, is damn fine as well. Also, MM sits right on the outskirt of the village, easier to get in and out of than Horsefeathers.
Other than that, you can sleep pretty peacefully up there!
