Powder Mountain Feb 17, 2008

Date(s) Skied: Feb 17, 2008

Resort or Ski Area: Powder Mountain

Conditions: packed powder, powder, sunny blue skies

Trip Report: Utah Trip Day 2 – Headed to Powder Mountain with 9YO daughter and 13YO son for a family day of skiing. Having never been to PM before had no idea what to expect. Facilities were nothing to brag about but the mountain was incredible. Skiing with the kids meant sticking to easier trails but it wasn’t hard to get an idea of what the mountain offers for advanced skiers.

Lift lines were minimal even though the parking was pretty much full. We didn’t wait more than 5 minutes in any line. I don’t think they’ve had fresh snow in a few days but there were still plenty of powder left in many areas.

Had a gaper sighting - http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...m/IMG_0787.JPG

A few other shots from today - http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...ry.php?cat=855

Back to Snowbasin tomorrow.
