Tuckerman Ravine, 2 Day Trip in April


Hiking up with 2 days of gear and then summiting and then hiking down to GG may be a bit ambitious.. We usually hike up to a shelter... Setup , eat ...

Hiking up with 2 days of gear and then summiting and then hiking down to GG may be a bit ambitious..

We usually hike up to a shelter... Setup , eat some food and rest a bit..
then hike over the Hillmans for the afternoon..

Thinking of burying bulk of gear, use GPS to locate. What do you think of that idea?

Met gpetric up there last year, the boy is in the air more than on the snow. I told him that if I run into him this year, I want flying lessons. Some great pics in that report, and that was yesterday, conditions are great!
