I'm still not sure if I'm definitely going, but if I do I'll be leaving at 6 AM for a 8 AM arrival and will stay till 1 or 1:30 when I have to head out to go to work. I'll be one tired man after going to Wachusett 6-10 tonight, watching the Celtics till 1 AM (probably won't do that), and then getting up at 6.

2knees is going and I think Madskier6 said he's going as well. For you 2 as well as others that may go, 10 AM at the triple?

10 a.m. at the triple sounds good to me. I'll be there with my son, maybe my daughter & another friend of mine. The fresh pow should be nice!

Guys: I think we're going to have a f*%&$#@^ great powder day at BEast tomorrow. The snow has come down consistently hard, with a relatively light & fluffy consistency, here in the Springfield area most of the day. It's still snowing right now although it has lightened up in intensity from earlier this evening. It must be even better in the Northern Berkshires! I think that area may be in one of the sweet spots of this storm.

I gotta go to bed soon so I can get up early for fresh tracks.

I'll be waking up at 5:30 and departing by 6 for an 8:15 arrival (allowing myself a half hour for road conditions, shouldn't be too bad on the highways by then as I'll be taking 90-91-2 instead of 122-2). Looking like I'll get 5 hours of skiing. Haven't gotten up that early for a ski day since Sugarbush last year.

First run: Flying Cloud.

EDIT: Amazing how a year ago to the day we were having this same discussion, except I went the day before the snow fell and provided the "pre-powder" report and then the rest of you went the next day with 4" of new snow.

I kinda know the place a little... it isn't big so you can really explore the place and figure out what you like. I've never skied the natural stuff on skiers right (everything off Mohawk, such as East Glades) so I also hope to find some new stuff.

If you're there early and are waiting for first chair, I may be able to find you. Yellow jacket, right?

EDIT 11:15: Just brushed 7" of fine fine powder off my car, all loaded, gas full, ready to go. Time for bed. Still snowing here BTW.

Have fun tomorrow. All snow tonight at Sundown. South of Torrington, CT rain was mixing in. I'm sure BEast will be all snow. On a day like tomorrow, BEast will be at its best. Enjoy.
