Wink Stratton 2/24

Had a great time at Stratton with Mario, Chris, and Peter. Used our free tickets! We've had better conditions to ski there but still had fun and many laughs. There wasn't a cloud in the sky all day which helped warm things up a bit, but it was never above freezing! Of course they were 99% groomed, but in pretty good shape, 100% open! Spent the morning working our way around the mountain and zoned in on the good stuff after lunch. The bumps on Bear Down were a great time and the woods are as good as anything in Southern VT! Sad to see the Kidderbrook chair gone, have a very long runout to Sun Bowl, and that's were we encounterd the longest lines, but it was only a few minutes. After lunch there were virtually no liftlines. Everyone heading home.

wow - pics 1 & 3 look really nice! I was at Magic yesterday and mostly wishing I was anywhere else [TR to come sometime today I hope]. I bet Bromley was good yesterday, with its south-facing runs the snow probably softened up nicely.

I hope you know i was being sarcastic. Like i said in one of the okemo bashing threads, i think just about any area, regardless of perception, would have something that would be interesting. People just like to go with the mob.

anyway, that bump run looks awesome.

Of course I knew you were sarcastic 2knees! I roll at Okemo once in a while, and hardly ever do a cruiser when I do. I don't have much bad to say about any hill that's giving me a ride to the top!

Yep, I used my free Stratton ticket yesterday and have a free Okemo voucher to burn sometime this week.
