Sundown FIS Freestyle World Cup Alternative

For those of you who are unable to attend the Sundown tour stop because of distance you might want to consider Gore on the same date. I entered last year and was very impressed by the organization, prizes and atmosphere. Gore really did themselves proud. I’ll be back for more this year.

Way to be so condescending HPD with the thread title. There are a few of us that are excited about our corny little event though. Good luck at Gore.

In no way was I being condescending, you guys should be excited. I was trying to be funny, we're all just recreational skiers after all, guess I missed the mark. If I was closer to CT. I'd be torn as to which one to go to. You guys will have a blast and be talking about it until the one next year.

I thought it was funny HPD, Greg is just cranky today after skiing icy moguls last night...

I guess I totally misinterpreted your post then and incorrectly detected a bit of ridicule in the thread title. After all, little Sundown gets talked about a lot on here so I can see it being a bit annoying to some folks that don't ski there. I apologize.

No problem, I’ve said it before and it bares repeating here tone, inflection, etc. don’t come across well with typed words on a screen. I just didn’t want anyone to think I was poking fun. I think what you guys have put together is great.

Nerves will go out the window as soon as you start your run
Pratice getting air the weeks before, if you normally don't, so you're confortable
Stick to your plan, line, tricks, speed, as best you can, don't change it during your run

Everyone knows it's all for fun, but human nature being what it is we all want to do well, so give it it's do. Have fun, joke, party, etc. with your friends after you're done. Be all business before.
