Looks like I might make it over to there. Convinced the wife that skiing Heavenly for 4 days was not the way to go. Kirkwood Sunday, maybe Squaw Monday then Heavenly. Only prob I have with Squaw is that you never know where you're going to end up. Hardest place I ever went to. Vis was so bad the last time that I didn't dare go up K-22.
Hope there is some snow left when I get there........only 140 inches!!!!!

The End

Taking off after five days of skiing. Squaw valley is a radical mountain.
Stayed at the squaw valley lodge. 70 feet from the k-22 lift. perfect place

Would I come back? Probably but I have a lot of other hills that need exploring first.

The terrain. Very steep with little in the line of trees . Lots of cliff bands and chutes. bumps are everywhere

Next stop Whiteface mountain will be glad to get home.

Peace out

too bad the good snow couldn't have stuck around a few more days... squaw on sunday was horrible... just a few groomers were ski-able as everything else was titanium... we eventually found a patch of fluffy bumps underneath the KT but it was only about 30 bumps long... amazing terrain... such torture to look out over it all and know that it's a huge chunk of ice... will have to come back on a powder day...

Just got back. Skied Heavenly for 2 days, Squaw for one. Squaw was a frozen wasteland, but the super steep groomers where fun. Have to get back there sometime either in spring or a good winter week. Place is sick!!!
