| I use some fairly thick flece gloves, and have done so in some pretty cold temps. I think they are windstops(???). But now I have goretex gloves and use them pretty much all the time. When it gets warm, I break them out. They do seem to let enough wind thru that they are comfy and dry. Dry is the best way for me to ski.
For perspective, I am a carpenter who will often work outside in winter without gloves.
I have some other fleece gloes that are a bit thinner, I use them for cross country days. Try thick fleece for those warmer ski days.
