BTW; Welcome to the forums!
Brian is right about the crowds at Magic generally. This weekend, however, Magic is hosting CISC Championship racing on both Sat & Sun so it will be more crowded than usual. I think it will still be less crowded than a place like Stratton or Okemo but who knows. I think it will still be worth it to go. In fact, I may be up there again this weekend myself.

Magic has a boundry to boundry policy. If they look cleared enough, you can dive right in.

Here's one tip though. Dont by any stretch, ski the woods, skiers right, of magician. We stopped below them and there was some serious iceflow poking through. trail that steep and wind exposed its bound to happen.

The hallows is fun. There is a hidden glade over near Vertigo & Up Your Sleeve. It's unofficially named "Down Your Pants". Look carefully or ask one of the regulars.

Magic's the place to be tomorrow, hands down. They're in great shape already and the storm is only going to sweeten the pot.

There are a lot of good tree shots between many of the trails on the skiers' left (West) side of the mountain. Be VERY conservative if you choose to follow tracks directly off of the upper part of Wizard. There are some ledges/cliff bands that can ruin your day. As also mentioned, there is some fairly significant water flow in places that make things that look good from a far, far from good. Be careful and enjoy!
