Trip Report: Day 4 of the Colorado ski trip. After a full day of snowmobiling we were uncertain if we wanted to ski. We are all pretty beat up and sore from riding sleds the day before. Finally at 10:30 I made the executive decision to ski Breck. It turned out to be a very good decision.

We only skied for a few hours but we had a very good session. We took it easy for the first few runs. Then decided to take the T-bar and ski Art’s bowl

After that run we made our way over to the Imperial Express and skied the top of Peak 7.

The cornice was huge in spots and I had a blast hucking one of it’s highest points. I would estimate 15-20 feet. The Mrs. wasn’t too happy I brought her up there. I caught some bitchin because I told her she wouldn’t have to jump a cornice. Oops!!! She found a section of the cornice she could ski down and when we got to the bottom she had a HUGE smile on her face.

All in all a great day!
