| Date(s) Skied: 2/28/2008 Resort or Ski Area: Breckenridge Conditions: Pack powder with some powder stashes in the high bowls Trip Report: Day 4 of the Colorado ski trip. After a full day of snowmobiling we were uncertain if we wanted to ski. We are all pretty beat up and sore from riding sleds the day before. Finally at 10:30 I made the executive decision to ski Breck. It turned out to be a very good decision. We only skied for a few hours but we had a very good session. We took it easy for the first few runs. Then decided to take the T-bar and ski Art’s bowl ![]() After that run we made our way over to the Imperial Express and skied the top of Peak 7. ![]() The cornice was huge in spots and I had a blast hucking one of it’s highest points. I would estimate 15-20 feet. The Mrs. wasn’t too happy I brought her up there. I caught some bitchin because I told her she wouldn’t have to jump a cornice. Oops!!! She found a section of the cornice she could ski down and when we got to the bottom she had a HUGE smile on her face. ![]() All in all a great day!
