Seeing the moose would have been cool. The most exciting wildlife I've seen on the slopes was a chipmunk. Woohoo.
2knees - You are absolutely right. Skiing by myself has become a problem for me. It leaves me the luxury of too much time to think. And thinking while skiing is bad for me.  I need a clear head, and somebody to keep up with.
We all have bad days, right? I'll be back to Snow next season to redeem myself.
