Well, I can understand why you don't ski NH more often based on your current location for ski season Though while some NH mountains have some phenomenal slack country and off map options when the snow slams into the Northern Whites, it would rarely be worth the drive from Burlington.

I saw two moose coming back from the rock pile myself. One at the Route 2/115 intersection and another just down the road a bit on 115 complete with tourist parked on side of road taking pictures
