2009 goals... Hmmm....

I guess my first goal is to finish my diet and fitness program that started last August 1. I just crossed the halfway point for weight loss. I should start the 08-09 season much lighter and in much better shape than I started the 07-08 season. Ride my bike to work most days. Row my dingy. Hike up and down at least 1500' of vertical once per weekend. Gunstock or elsewhere in the Belknaps if I'm at home. Around KMart if I'm there. Some easy stuff farther north in New Hampshire a few times.

My second goal is to ski as much next year as I did this year. I logged 59 days plus a Chile trip this August. As a weekend warrior with limited vacation time, that's about the limit.

My skiing, as always, is a work in progress. My stance is too closed. I'm a 1960's and early 1970's Stratton skier. Tough to fight your roots. I have the fatal flaw we all have to some degree that I get tired and bend at the waist in the bumps. I'm also working on commiting to the fall line in steeper trees.

I also want to start dabbling with an AT/Randonee setup. Boots & bindings mounted on a spair pair of powder boards.
