| Date: March 29, 2008 2006 Trip Report #: 52 Resort: Sugarbush Conditions: MG/FG. Weather: Cold, winds out of the NW. Highs in the low 20’s maybe! Sun and clouds. Trip Report: Long overdue I know folks, but things have been busy. Had MK and GF up for the weekend...we were planning on Spring Skiing at Sugarbush. I guess cold, midwinter conditions will have to suffice. After a quick spin down Cliffs, we headed over to Lincoln Peak because Ellen was too cold. We dove into Deeper Sleeper to find rocks We took a warm up break and then headed down an icy Castlerock Run (with some soft bumps) before bailing out for Bravo. Then we were off down Murphy's Glade, which we loved. Nice soft snow. Next run was a spin down Birdland...with MK doing some showboating: MK and I then hit Eden, which was nice....and watched the Pond Skimming before heading back up and going over to Heaven's Gate. Organgrinder was nice...but the flat light made it difficult to see terrain transitions. By now it was about 12:30 or so and we had skied much of what we wanted to at LP. So we headed back to Ellen for lunch before heading out and hitting all the cruisers. They were cold and windy, but the snow was nice and fast. The elusive Trailboss was caught on film: Then MK hit Rim Run: MK and GF liked Rim Run and Elbow best...but Northstar was nice as well for some good snow. Near the end of the day we got a great group shot... A nice but cold day.... The gallery.
