Is Coopers essentially Killington's version of the Bench at Stowe?

Depends, what's the Bench at Stowe. Coopers is cabin for hikers to stay overnight, with bunks and table.

Bench at Stowe is popular 420 spot on the way to accessing slack country in the notch. Perhaps Coopers is more akin to the Stone Hut or Taft Lodge on Mansfield with 420 being optional

Ayuh, technically Cooper Lodge is a shelter for Long Trail and AT hikers. Heres the interior. Not very big, and if the big wooden panels over the windows are closed, pretty damned dreary, too.
