April 6-12, 2008

Great trip with Valdez Heli-Camps and Skiclinics.com (we were a separate group inside the VHC with Dan Egan as our coach).

We hit very good conditions, lots of new snow, and flew 4 of 6 days. The nice thing about VHC is the snowcat backup terrain off Stone mountain. Our "no fly" days were spent getting freshies on the cat terrain.

I've wanted to ski the Chugach for....way too long. Finally scratched that itch....

Been wanting to do this for a long time. Thought I was going to get a heli ride at Powder Mountain this year but didn't pan out. Alaska would be too expensive.
