| Loveland may 3rd creamy goodness So after skiing friday in a hellacious storm it was nice to have a clear day with calm winds. Lot's of stuff was opened on sat. morning as the visibility on friday was nada. This storm dumped a good amount light dry snow but the wind really blew it dense. If you knew where the wind blew it there was some pretty deep stuff. The ridge opened bright and early and we wasted no time. Some parts were scoured clean while others were creamy and deep. Nothing like hearing constant bombing up there on May 3rd. Down lower some of the trees were also skiing very well, especially low traffic stuff as there were no frozen bumps underneath. I can't beleive they are closed tomorrow. Looks like it's time for touring season and a few trips to a-basin. I snapped a couple scenics and a couple of G.F. http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...o/5847/cat/926 http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...o/5845/cat/926 http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...o/5846/cat/926 http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...o/5844/cat/926 http://forums.alpinezone.com/gallery...o/5843/cat/926 |
