Check out New England Lost Ski Areas Project

This website is dedicated to closed ski hills. A ski archeology site. It is very cool. It includes New England, NY, NJ, Canada and others. Very cool.

Have you ever wondered what happened to your favorite ski area? Why did it close? What was the history behind it? Ever driven by a closed ski area and wondered what it was, its legacy?

Well it's buried so deep that I did not see it.

We discovered Bearpen Mt from that list...
And will hopefully climb and ride it before the winter is over...

Hope the list doesnt get bigger.

Well, I almost never get lucky (married)... when I do I hope its not with either of you

Seriously, I think I need to get a little better first... I heard Greg got quite the workout skiing with Jim and hes a better skier than me...

And I was just kidding about the getting lucky part (in case my wife who occasionly reads these forums finds this )
