There is short list of performers I'd be willing to pay over $100 for; McCartney, Zeppelin Reunion, Talking Heads if it ever happened. Plenty of performers charge much more, which I think is ridiculous.

I routinely pay upwards of $200 for music festivals, but those are three to five days and include camping / parking.

Madonna I'd throw down a five spot for, but someone would have to pay for drinks

I paid less for the police at red rocks.

Are that many still interested in Madonna?

I saw Talking Heads at CBGB back in the 70s. I was about 2 feet from the stage and will never forget how nervous David Byrne looked and acted. Me and my gf at the time must have laughed about that for a couple of years. The show was great!

I don't think I would pay $95 to see any band. Maybe half that much I would consider for one of my favorites. Although even my favorites have been rather disappointing lately

Madonna has had some amazing tracks over the years. She has a really good ear for producers that pull on influences of cutting edge stuff in the club scene and making them into pop ditties. Not much of a fan of pop music but always had a soft spot for Madonna tracks due to her producers and musicians. Can't say I would be interested in seeing her in concert though.

I was just saying how Talking Heads is one of the few acts that I'd spend serious money to see. There have been some pricey acts ($53 for 2 hrs of Grisman) at the Stone Church lately that prompted the conversation. There are lots of great musicians on the local scene.

I remember getting to a Phil show super early once. Shakedown ended up building up all around my car. A couple of hours before the show I threw some Talking Heads on my car stereo. Next thing you know I got like 50 heads dancing around my car. Then some wookie chick breast fed her kid in the back seat of my ride.

I'm not into the Dead, but I would love to have an opportunity to see the Talking Heads! I saw Stop Making Sense in the theater back in HS, what great concert movie. Never got to catch them in concert then.

No, and that's why they have to charge so much.
