THE best dogs I've ever had are the house brand at Oscar's Smokehouse in Warrensburg, NY. Natural casing. I'm pretty sure they're a beef/pork blend. I stock up a cooler when I pass that place on the way home from Gore.

Actually it's a great product when used in certain ways. I've had General Tso Tofu from the farmer's market that was decent. and I like it in Miso soup, Pho, and some other dishes. Mostly in small pieces for texture.

I try to stick with the natural ones (no nitrites/nitrates added, no HFCS/corn syrup solids). They're pretty good and "healthier" for you, too.

I love OSCAR'S!! They have the greatest beef jerky there. Always have to stop and get some as i am passing by.
