| Not redundant. While kosher hot dogs clearly can't have pork, they have to have kosher beef/chicken/turkey (without getting into too much details, proper slaughtering process). While your typical kosher hotdog is all beef, not all all beef hotdogs are kosher.

I don't think there has been a single change to Hot Dog Johnny's (or if you go by their old t-shirts, Johnny Hot Dog) other than the yearly fresh coat of paint in 40+ years. They still offer soda or cold buttermilk as drink choices. It is certianly a bit of Americana roadside history.

| For all the Hartford area folks, or even those that from time to time do the I-91 drive just North of Hartford. Paul's Ranchhouse which is located in the North End of Hartord, just South of Exit 34 off I-91 makes a really tasty chili dog. Not exactly in the best of neighborhoods |
